WSU regents OK health clinic bonds

SPOKANE — The Washington State University Board of Regents approved the sale of up to $16.25 million in revenue bonds for design and construction of the University District Health Clinic in Spokane.

A WSU news release says the clinic will help overcome a shortage of physicians in Central and Eastern Washington. It is expected to open in 2016 at the site of the former Pierone warehouse to the east of the South Campus Facility.
