Oregon Hispanic population growing

BEND, Ore. (AP) — New population estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau show that the Hispanic population in Central Oregon has been steadily growing.

The Bulletin reports that the estimates released last week show that the number of Deschutes County residents who identify as Hispanic rose by 18 percent between 2010 and 2015. They make up about 8 percent of the county's population.
