Albertsons HQ gets Idaho tax break

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The Idaho Department of Commerce has agreed to reimburse 30 percent of grocery chain Albertsons' state taxes for the next 15 years under a plan intended to promote job growth in Idaho.

The Idaho Statesman reports that Albertsons is expanding its Boise headquarters, which will result in creating 300 new jobs and $38 million in additional state tax revenue. The average job salary is expected to be roughly $71,100.
