State OKs $850,000 for four projects

OLYMPIA — The Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board said it has approved $850,000 in loans and grants for infrastructure projects and feasibility studies for the cities of Othello and Airway Heights, the Makah Tribe, and the Port of Sunnyside.

A $50,000 grant for Othello will help fund a feasibility study on a water supply plan, including a new well, pump station and reservoir. The Makah Tribe is getting $50,000 for a feasibility study on expanding the Cape Flattery Fishermen's Co-op. The tribe wants to upgrade the processing plant.
