El Centro de la Raza in Seattle is accepting applications for the 7th Annual Roberto Felipe Maestas Legacy Award, to be presented at the organization's Building the Beloved Community Gala Sept. 30 at the Seattle Westin. The award recognizes a woman and a man who have exemplified Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision of multi-racial unity and working to eliminate poverty, racism and social inequity.
