Wenatchee fruit warehouse to become diamond factory

Chelan County PUD said this photo shows Diamond Foundry’s plasma reactors. The company says it uses intense heat and pressure to produce high-quality diamonds in about two weeks.

A former fruit-packing warehouse in Wenatchee will get a new lease on life as a production plant for manufactured diamonds.
