QuoteWizard buys caller operation

SEATTLE — QuoteWizard, which provides insurance comparisons for buyers, has bought Bantam Connect, a California company that directs sales leads to insurance providers.

Seattle-based QuoteWizard says the acquisition allows it to enhance the technological potential of its calls service, diversify its product offerings and increase customer traffic. As part of the deal, QuoteWizard retains Bantam's 30 employees and its call center in Rancho Cordova.
