OLYMPIA — The state Transportation Commission yesterday approved toll rates for the Seattle waterfront tunnel, which is expected to open in early February.
Here are the rates for those with “Good To Go!” accounts:
$1.50 during morning commute
$2.25 during evening commute
$1.25 during non-peak hours
$1 overnight and weekends
Those without Good to Go will pay an extra $2.
Drivers will not be charged when the tunnel first opens, but an exact date to begin tolling has yet to be determined.
Rates will increase by 3 percent every three years beginning in July 2022.
