$100k for building tech education in Seattle

SEATTLE — Johnson Controls — a building tech company that specializes in sustainable “smart building” technologies — has given North Seattle College $100,000 to invest in the career pathway for the next generation of building technology innovators.

The college will use the gift, which is from the Johnson Controls Community College Partnership Program, to expand its associate degree and certificate programs in electronics.
