Historic homes get rehab in Newhalem
SEATTLE — Seattle City Light will seek bids late next month on the first phase of an estimated $1.3 million project to renovate four buildings in the Skagit Historic Housing District, starting with one of the original homes on Newhalem's Silk Stocking Lane.
The multi-year project involves three buildings in Newhalem and one in nearby Diablo.
