$17M makeover for UW ethnic center

Benjamin McAdoo, Washington’s first black architect, designed the center, which became the first university-owned building in the country to serve minorities.

The University of Washington is planning a $17 million makeover for its Ethnic Cultural Center, which serves minority students.
