Viaduct meetings begin this week

SEATTLE — The Washington State Department of Transportation invites the public to hear about its plans for the Alaskan Way Viaduct, which must come down by 2012.

WSDOT will hold three open houses in the next two weeks. All of them will take place between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
