Granite wins $3.6M Mt. Baker Hwy. job

BELLINGHAM — The Washington State Department of Transportation has awarded Granite Northwest a $3.6 million contract to repave part of the Mount Baker Highway (state Route 542).

This summer, the contractor will repave nearly 17 miles of the highway between Bellingham and Kendall, using a paving process that is new to WSDOT.
