Sea-Tac light rail to open Dec. 19

SEATAC (AP) — Sound Transit will open its light rail connection to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Dec. 19.

The first 13.9 miles of the system opened in July with service between downtown Seattle and Tukwila, where a free shuttle took people to and from the airport. Washington Sen. Patty Murray announced the opening of the airport link at a news conference Friday.
