Centex switches gears, builds ‘opportunistically'

Centex is developing Sinclair Woods in Bothell. It has other homes for sale in Auburn, Marysville and DuPont.
THE AUGUST MERGER of Centex Corp. and Pulte Homes created the nation's largest homebuilder, but shock waves from the $1.3 billion deal will be slow to reach the Northwest.
