Disney exec shows AGC how to survive bad times

Can contractors learn anything from Mickey Mouse? That question was likely answered last Friday by Mike Reardon of the Disney Institute, who was scheduled to speak at the AGC of Washington's annual meeting in Bellevue. Reardon, based in Orlando, Fla., was in town to show AGC members how to navigate the difficult economy — Disney style.

In a phone interview earlier this month, Reardon told the DJC that any business can learn from the philosophies of Walt Disney.
