Teufel restructures under Chapter 11

Teufel Nursery crews unloaded a 5-ton big leaf maple at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation campus last week in Seattle. Gustafson Guthrie Nichol is the landscape architect.

The weak economy and changes in a lender's plans forced Teufel Nursery to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last year, but now the Portland-based landscaping and nursery company says it is poised to come out of bankruptcy.
