Construction bids due May 5 to clean up the ‘Mercer mess'

The Mercer corridor project will take three years and alter the street grid in the Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. The city is seeking bids on a design/bid/build project to make Mercer Street wider and Valley Street narrower.

The “Mercer mess” is finally going to be tidied up.
