WSDOT issues RFQ for SR-520

  • Responses are due Sept. 30 from design-build teams who want to build the $700 million to $900 million floating bridge.
    • By JOURNAL STAFF

    The Washington State Department of Transportation started its search this week for a design-build team to construct a $700 million to $900 million floating bridge for state Route 520 across Lake Washington.

    Earlier WSDOT estimates put the contract as high as $1 billion.
