SEATTLE (AP) — The large lock at the Ballard locks in Seattle remains out of service through the rest of the week while the Corps of Engineers repairs an electrical outage caused by Monday's lightning strike.
The corps says some ship and barge traffic could be delayed during the closure. The smaller Ballard lock, which mostly handles pleasure boats, continues to operate.
