RICHLAND — The Washington State University Board of Regents Friday approved starting design on improvements to Martin Stadium in Pullman. Premium seating, a new press box and a 100,000-square-foot football operations center are planned.
The roughly $70 million project will be privately funded through donations and premium seating revenue. The athletic department also expects to receive increased revenue from a new Pac-12 television contract, which could be used to underwrite some of the cost.
