SEATTLE (AP) — Damage has been found in one of the large pontoons that are being built at Aberdeen for the new Highway 520 floating bridge across Lake Washington at Seattle.
The Washington State Department of Transportation said the damage was discovered May 11 after steel cables were stretched through a pontoon for strength. There wasn't enough rebar in place to hold.
