Dredging to start in Grays Harbor
SEATTLE — American Construction Co. of Tacoma is scheduled to begin the annual dredging of the Grays Harbor navigation channel today.
The work will remove about 770,000 cubic yards of material between the inner harbor near Aberdeen to the middle of the harbor. The Corps' Seattle District has awarded a $4.25 million contract to the contractor. The project should be completed by Feb. 15.
