Bids too high for Kodiak High School

KODIAK, Alaska (AP) — All three bids received to build a new Kodiak High School have come in over what the Kodiak Island Borough School District had estimated.

The Kodiak Daily Mirror reports the project, considered the largest ever on the island 200 miles southwest of Anchorage, was budgeted at $58.5 million.
