PUYALLUP (AP) — Most of the renovation of the old wooden roller coaster at the Washington state fairgrounds at Puyallup should be complete in time for the April 18 annual Spring Fair.
Workers have been replacing track and support structure for the half-mile ride in a $1.25 million restoration project. Improvements to the cars and loading area should be finished in time for the September fair.
