Wind-energy projects in a lull in Eastern Oregon

PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) — It's been a calm year for the development of wind energy in Eastern Oregon.

The East Oregonian newspaper reports that uncertainty over the future of federal tax credits for wind production has the industry in a lull, and no new projects are under construction in the area.
