SEATTLE (AP) — A water main break flooded streets and a parking lot near Seattle's University Village shopping center Tuesday afternoon and prompted concerns about the stability of pillars that support a road through the area.
It wasn't immediately clear what caused the rupture in the 16-inch pipe Tuesday afternoon, but Seattle Fire Department spokeman Kyle Moore says the water gushed about 20 feet in the air.
