SEATTLE — The executive committee of the King County Flood Control District approved a resolution to speed funding for repairs to the seawall along the Seattle waterfront.
The resolution would move $5 million in flood district funds slated for 2015 into 2014. That would bring the total of flood district funds allocated in 2014 to $20.81 million. Expediting the funds is expected to save $375,000 by reducing the number of bonds to be sold.
