WSDOT wants to reuse 1925 bridge twice; first for cars, then for people

Two bridges span the Puyallup River, one built in 1925 and the other in 1970. The older span will be moved and used to handle traffic while a new bridge is built. Then it may become a pedestrian bridge in Enumclaw.

Nightly closures will start Sunday for the $30.78 million replacement of the Puyallup River Bridge.
