Voters to decide on Kent police station

KENT — The City Council approved a $34 million bond measure for the November ballot that would fund construction of new public safety and training facilities for Kent's growing police force.

Operations now are in four buildings. The police headquarters is in a remodeled library that was designed for 85 officers but now holds 144.
