Group hopes to save USS Olympia

    OLYMPIA — The Washington State Friends of the USS Olympia want to assuage some guilt. They want to right a 120-year-old wrong.

    The nonprofit group of high-ranking former state officials and maritime history buffs known as FOTO have launched a fund raising campaign to help save the world's oldest steel-hulled warship from the scrap heap.
