City Light repairs hydroelectric dam

SEATTLE — Seattle City Light announced that Boundary Dam's electrical-generating Unit 53 is up and running again after repairs.

In April 2013 the generator experienced an electrical short that disabled the unit and caused an estimated $6 million to $7 million loss in surplus power sales between April and July last year.
