Tapani to build $4M Kalama park

KALAMA, Cowlitz County — The Port of Kalama Commission awarded a $4.55 million contract to Tapani Inc. to expand Haydu Park as part of the recent East Port annexation.

The commission also approved Tapani's alternate bid of about $200,000 to build tennis and basketball courts, asphalt pathways and overflow parking. Battle Ground-based Tapani was the lowest of seven bidders.
