YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) — Yellowstone National Park officials are considering a proposal to update and repair many of the overlooks and trails on the north and south rims of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.
The project aims at addressing aging and deteriorating infrastructure, providing improved accessibility, improving pedestrian flow and addressing safety issues. Park officials will focus on the Brink of the Upper Falls, the Brink of Lower Falls, Uncle Tom's Point, Inspiration Point, Red Rocks Point and Crystal Falls, as well as the trails that connect the locations.
