SEATTLE — Seawall construction along the central waterfront will start up again Wednesday after a summer break.
Work will take place along Alaskan Way between Pike and Madison streets, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
Street parking along the west side of the Alaskan Way Viaduct will be removed to make way for the construction work zone. Ferry terminal access will move a block south, to just south of Madison Street on Alaskan Way.
Mortenson/Manson is the general contractor.
SDOT expects to complete the seawall replacement in spring 2016.
