EDMONDS (AP) — The city of Edmonds is considering digging a mile-and-a-half-long “train trench” that would allow trains to roll through the city below grade. That would relieve street traffic congestion, especially for the ferry terminal.
A preliminary study indicates the train trench could cost more than $250 million.
