FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) — Overheated steam is believed to have caused the rupture of a pipe that resulted in the loss of heat and water for some buildings at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports that water damage prompted the relocation of 15 Walsh Hall residents following the rupture Monday.
