SEATTLE — A University of Washington startup says it has developed a double-pile technology that makes underwater construction quieter and safer for marine wildlife, and is less restrictive and costly for contractors.
Marine Construction Technology developed and tested the system with support from WSDOT, Federal Highway Administration, Port of Tacoma, and several engineering and environmental firms.
