Angel of The Winds Casino recently opened a new five-story hotel at 3438 Stoluckquamish Lane in Arlington. Construction cost more than $27 million.

The 100,000-square-foot hotel is connected to the casino, with 125 guest rooms, including six two-bay suites. River Rock Smoke Shop and a gift shop are part of the addition.

The porte-cochere and valet station were designed to give the hotel a distinctive entrance.

The Stillaguamish Tribe opened Angel of The Winds casino in October 2004. Since then, the tribe has donated more than $6.2 million to local organizations such as Arlington Food Bank, North County Fire and Rescue, and the Boys and Girls Club.

Owner: Stillaguamish Tribe

Architect: DreamCatcher Hotels
