Old Oregon armory's new life: dance hall

  • The Cottage Grove City Council approved designs for renovating the building, which needs $1 million in deferred maintenance work first.
  • COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. (AP) — The Cottage Grove City Council has approved the design for a renovated armory building.

    Built in 1931 as a local home for the Oregon National Guard, the building hasn't been needed for military use since the Guard moved into a building in Springfield more than five years ago.
