Pierce County HQ now goes on ballot

TACOMA (AP) — Pierce County's $127 million headquarters will be in the hands of the public following a final approval from the County Council.

The News Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1yTuPer ) the Council approved a resolution to create a measure for the Aug. 4 ballot asking voters whether the county should finance a new General Services Building. The resolution will have a final reading and vote next week.
