$200M spent on Yakima schools

YAKIMA (AP) — A Yakima School District construction project totaling more than $200 million is finally complete.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://bit.ly/1Lqj8Qe ) the bulk of the money went toward constructing new Davis and Eisenhower schools. Additional funds were used to repay more than $3 million that the district had accrued in debt. Major repairs were also funded for several elementary schools, as well as Discovery Lab School and the old Stanton.
