Nickel Brothers wins Everett port job

EVERETT — The Port of Everett Commission awarded a $1.1 million contract to Nickel Brothers to relocate the Weyerhaeuser Building from the port's south marina to Boxcar Park in the central marina.

The 93-year-old Weyerhaeuser Building is on the National Register of Historic Places. The 6,000-square-foot structure will be used as a marine clubhouse, and the port plans to construct an outdoor performance venue on the back of the building around 2020.
