Permanent fix due for big I-5 pothole

MARYSVILLE (AP) — State transportation officials say crews have repaired a large pothole on Interstate 5 that caused a traffic jam near Marysville for several hours Sunday.

Transportation spokeswoman Danielle Holstein says crews temporarily filled the hole, which was about 12 feet by 3 feet and 7 inches deep. A more permanent fix is coming.
