CHICAGO (AP) — The city of Chicago is planning a multi-billion-dollar effort to expand the city's O'Hare International Airport that includes more gates, larger terminals and upgraded amenities.
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said the project includes up to nine more gates in the international terminal, which hasn't been expanded since it opened 23 years ago. The mayor says taxpayers won't fund the projects. Planning is expected to be finished next year.
