Site preparation by Interwest Construction is almost done.
The district is seeking a contractor for both buildings. Bids are due by Aug. 30, according to a notice in the Aug. 2 DJC.
The estimated cost for the work is $39.25 million.
NAC Architecture is designing the project, which is slated to open in fall 2017.
Here is the team: Nichols Consulting, program management; Harmsen & Associates, survey; Coughlin Porter Lundeen, civil and structural engineering; Weisman Design Group, landscape architecture; Hargis Engineers, MEP; Halliday and Associates, food service; MBF AV and Acoustical Consulting, acoustics; The Robinson Co., cost control; Shockey Planning Group, land use planning; and Gordon Adams, hardware.
