Bellwether's Arbora Court breaks ground this week

University Christian Church and nonprofit developer Bellwether Housing will break ground Wednesday on Arbora Court, at 4734 15th Ave. N.E., directly across the street from UCC.

Part of the site was once parking for the church.

The project will provide 133 affordable apartments, with an emphasis on family-friendly units including 20 three-bedroom and 33 two-bedroom units. Forty apartments will be set aside for families transitioning out of homelessness.

Weber Thompson is the architect. Walsh is the contractor.

Arbor Court should be completed in March 2018.
