Tacoma Dome to get $21M rehab

TACOMA — The city of Tacoma will spend $21.3 million to renovate the Tacoma Dome, with work beginning next summer.

Mayor Marilyn Strickland and the City Council recently approved funding for the project that will replace seating, spruce up the exterior, renovate restrooms, modernize backstage areas, and upgrade loading docks and security systems.
