More HOT lanes opening on SR 167

AUBURN — Six miles of new high-occupancy toll lanes will open Dec. 17 on state Route 167 through Auburn.

The new section will create a nearly 14-mile continuous southbound stretch of HOT lanes from Renton to Pacific. It also adds new sidewalks and traffic signals at the Route 167 interchanges with Ellingson Road and Eighth Street East.
