Bertha back at it after maintenance

SEATTLE — The tunnel machine called Bertha resumed mining on Monday after undergoing 10 days of hyperbaric maintenance.

Crews replaced about 300 of the nearly 500 scrapers on Bertha's cutterhead during the down time. The scrapers line the sides of the cutterhead spokes.
